At your request, and with our great pleasure, we continuously organize educational workshops so that mothers and future mothers can be inform in a timely manner how to successfully breastfeed their baby. Matrona is in cooperation with partner companies, who help to organize the free workshops for mothers..

(2019) NGO Matrona, Center for promotion of health and human rights, this year on the occasion of the World Breastfeeding Week, actively shared stories about breastfeeding on the social network facebook with hash tag#prikaznizadoenje, where mothers talk about their successful, persistent stories of breastfeeding, in order to inspire and encourage all future mothers to breast-feed their baby because nothing can replace breast milk, and breastfeeding is the best choice for the baby and the mother.

We thank all mothers who shared their story about breastfeeding with us. At the same time, we announce our new Breastfeeding Friends - Пријатели на доењето with whom we will build a community of subjects / supporters (restaurants, cafes, companies, institutions) to help raise awareness about breastfeeding. As part of the activities in this project, NGO Matrona will do research through surveying the target groups. The purpose of the survey is to investigate the readiness of society to support mothers for public breastfeeding and to encourage all future mothers to breastfeed their babies.

(2015) NGO Matrona, a center for promotion of health and human rights, in cooperation with the Association of Pediatricians of the Republic of Macedonia, the Association of Neonatologists of the Republic of Macedonia, the University Clinic of Gynecology and Obstetrics and the Health Center Skopje, marked the global breast week with a series of educational lectures and practical workshops related to breastfeeding by delivering the message outside the healthcare institutions to the public. The sponsors of the event were Bi-MEK, a representative of Medela, the world leader in breast-feeding products, and City Mall Skopje, and is supported by the Acibadem Sistina Clinic, the Remedika Hospital and the Fertility Hospital.
